We have thus designed an octagonal based lampshade with four larger sides on which to paint two flying butterflies separated by a twig with leaves. The same twig proceeds on the smaller sides, to end with a small flower.
The technique we used for the assembly is the same as the famous Tiffany lamps, which allows you to create three-dimensional compositions. On the tin welds we have applied a burnished brass-colored patina.
Although the design and cutting of the glass require a lot of precision, the most complex part is the painting on glass performed with different grisaille and transparent enamels kiln fired at each step.
