Sliding Wooden Door with Artistic Glass: Tailored Elegance for Your Interiors<\/h1>\n

At our atelier in Bolsena, we crafted a stunning sliding wooden door with artistic glass, custom-designed for Eva and Daniele. For their home in the medieval village of Torre Alfina, renowned for its beautiful castle, they were looking for a piece that would not only enhance their living space but also hold deep personal meaning.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Why a Custom Door with English Roses<\/h3>\n

The choice of the decorative motif was inspired by Eva’s late father, a passionate rose enthusiast. To honor his memory and celebrate his passion, the central theme of this custom sliding door had to be the rose.
\nWith this inspiration, I set to work on creating an original design and chose to depict antique English roses<\/a>, complementing a very special piece of hand-blown glass I had preserved in the workshop.<\/p>\n

Gold Pink Glass: A Rare and Precious Material<\/h3>\n

For stained glass lovers, a sheet of mouth blown gold pink glass<\/strong> is a true treasure, reserved for the most special occasions. This extraordinary material is crafted entirely by hand<\/a>, one sheet at a time, using a process that imparts a brilliant pink hue by adding gold salts or colloidal gold to the mix. The latter is created by dissolving pure gold in acidic compounds. The combination of artisanal craftsmanship and the high cost of gold makes this the most precious glass in the world. For this project, rose gold glass was the perfect choice to represent the delicate antique English roses.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Technical Details and Collaboration: Where Functionality Meets Beauty<\/h3>\n

To create this sliding wooden door with artistic glass, we paid meticulous attention to every detail. We played with contrasts of opacity and transparency, using high-quality colored glass:
\n\u2022 Background glass:<\/strong> Cathedral glass with a frosted effect, perfect for ensuring privacy. We used soft yellow and pink tones, adding a subtle touch of color without sacrificing natural light.
\n\u2022 Glass for the Borders:<\/strong> Mouth blown glass with crystal-clear transparency and charming bubbles from the blowing process. For the colors, I selected two particular shades of blue, leaning towards gray.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For this Sliding wooden door with artistic glass, we collaborated with the clients\u2019 trusted carpenter, achieving a perfect balance between the wooden structure\u2019s color and the stained glass. Despite the sliding nature of the door, we chose to integrate a concealed iron bar along the central lead line. This technical solution prevents potential deformation over time, ensuring stability and durability.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
