Once a private villa owned by the Fabris family, the producers of Brandy, it is now the headquarters of the Villa Fabris Foundation, European center for heritage crafts.

This course will be an intensive course dedicated exclusively to the traditional techniques of glass painting for stained glass. The course will be delivered by Simonetta Mountain and Diego Tolomelli, while the glass we will use has been kindly donated by the company Mondovetro of Vicenza.

During this glass painting course at Villa Fabris, students will create two works on glass, learning to apply trace lines with a pigment mixed with essential oils and apply washes mixed with water for shading and finally colors using transparent enamels.

Course Dates and Times:
· Monday, July 27th 4 hours (from 2pm to 6pm)
· Tuesday, July 28th 7 hours (from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm)
· Wednesday, July 29th (from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm)
· Thursday, July 30th (from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm)

The cost of this course is 450 € + VAT (materials included)

Where to stay?
Villa Fabris can offer accommodation for students with single, double or triple rooms and a shared kitchen for lunch and dinner together, a wonderful opportunity to experience four exiting days of learning in a relaxed creative environment in a Palladian Villa

Accommodation rates (per day)
Single room € 35
Double room € 30
Triple room € 25

The glass painting course at Villa Fabris will start with a minimum of 8 students
For more information contact:
centroeuropeo@villafabris.eu
telephone at +39-445-372329

The glass painting course at Villa Fabris will be delivered in both English and Italian.

[30
231
post-17308","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-stained-glass-blog","tag-course-write-up
["GET
