It also houses an outstanding collection of stained glass windows, which includes a medieval four-light window, nineteenth-century stained glass windows by the Moretti studio and a mullioned window by the Roman artist Duilio Cambellotti.
Another wonder, a stone’s throw from Bolsena is Civita di Bagnoregio, one of the most beautiful medieval hamlets in Italy. It is like a town out of a fairy-tale, balanced precariously on a rocky outcrop and surrounded by a beautiful valley with unusual rock formations called calanchi in Italian, and less romantically Badlands in English.
The historical, artistic inspiration passed this setting offers, combined with the relaxation of the countryside, form the right atmosphere for the creation of our stained glass.
The studio offers spaces to work, a wide range of coloured glass, several light tables and all the material needed to create our commissions and support students who wish to undertake a course with us.
The studio also has several fully equipped apartments, which are ideal for artists wishing to spend their residency with us, or students who wish to come and study with IKO Studio.
Should you wish to visit the studio we can be reached easily by car, the A1 motorway (exit at Orvieto and continue to Montefiascone) or by train, our nearest station being which is on the main line between Florence and Rome. We are very happy to pick you up at the station.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”11930,11935,11945,11951,11940,11925,13319″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”Contact us for a visit” color=”sky” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ikostudio.it%2Fen%2Fcontacts%2F||target:%20_blank|”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text] The Studio Our studio is located in a country house just outside the village of Bolsena, in central Italy, about 130 kilometres north of Rome.
